Paint Irene

The Irene Community Development Corporation, at its April 1, 2016 meeting approved funding for a community project to help/encourage homeowners in the City of Irene to paint their homes. The goal of this project is twofold. First, there are people in our community who would like to paint their homes but may not be able to afford the project. Secondly, the development corporation feels it is an asset to the community to have a nice looking homes and neat properties.

If your home is owner occupied; and your gross family income is under $65,000, subject to number of dependents, need, and number of years in residence; you may be eligible for some financial assistance in painting your home. The lower your household income, the more you may be eligible for. Some people may be eligible for a free paint job!

Applications can printed online or can be picked up at Merchants State Bank or City Hall and turned back into either location.
